Differently from the aquadrive Dual the cooling surfaces of the aquadrive X2 are made from massive copper plates which are integrated into the Delrin side panels. Extremely wide coolant channels ensure a minimal flow resistance. The inner side of the aquadrive X2 is equipped with a special heavy layer coating to effectively absorb any high-frequency noise. To minimize the conduction of vibration from the drives to the PC case the aquadrive X2 is equipped with the proven rubber elements.

To allow perfect compatibility with both SATA as well as PATA drives without having to make larger openings  than necessary the openings are designed for SATA drives and can quickly be made compatible with PATA drives by breaking out a part of the backplate.

Suitable for drives with speeds up to 15.000rpm.

The aquadrive X2 is shipped with 4 rubber vibration absorbers as well as 4 cross-slotted screws for installation in two 5,25" frive bays. Additional mounting threads also allow installation on the upper mounting points. The included rubber vibration absorbers can only be used when using the lower mounting threads. Installation with slide systems is usually possible.
